This is another of those briefs where we had to produce 10 resolutions. But these resolutions had to visually answer 'WHAT IS ORANGE?
why 10?why,why,why??
'Colour is the most immediate form of non-verbal communication.We naturally react to colour...'
Again i got a dictionary definition and thought about the words that the colour orange conjured up in my mind.I guess these came from associations and just odd words that came to me! Next step was thinking about what context i would associate or find orange in,what objects i would associate with orange and finally what phrases arise from the colour orange. This approach to idea generation worked quite well for me.A mish mash of mad words-associated with orange in some way-being the result.

Im not sure what to think. Even though i know what these 10 compositions mean,i dont think visually-apart from the stock colour- they represent the colour 'orange' that well.My interpretation contains elements of what i feel orange is,but that wouldnt necessarily be understood by someone else??????
